Replacement Fire Hoop Wicks

Our MoonBlaze Replacement Hoop Wicks are perfect for adding fire and burn time to your existing fire hoop. These large fire wicks are 1.75 inches in diameter and 1 or 2 inches long and are firmly attached to an 8 inch rod (the fire wick starts approximately 5.5 inches from the hoop).

Rigid hoop wicks eliminate the wobble caused by flexible wicks, and are less likely to disrupt your hooping. However, as with any hoop wick, damage can be caused by dropping the hoop while spinning, hitting the wicks against the ground or other objects while spinning, stepping on them, etc. Most minor damage can be solved by carefully bending a rod back into position.

Pliers are a useful tool, but are unnecessary to attach the wicks to the hoop. The only regular maintenance that needs to be performed is to make sure the nut at the base of the wick (not the end) is checked and kept tight.

the majority of detachable-wick systems use 1/4 inch attachments. However, we also offer 5/16 inch replacement wicks. If you need help finding out what you have, please let us know.

These wicks are simply amazing. With lamp oil, mine easily burn for over 5 minutes. They're still small enough to move easily and nimbly, but large enough to hold a ton of fuel.
